Location: Municipal Field on Main Street, Chester NJ
The 19th Annual Chester Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Historic Chester Business Association (HCBA), will be held on Saturday, March 30th, in downtown Historic Chester, New Jersey. This fun, family-oriented Spring holiday event will feature over 5,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes, and includes a competitive Jelly-Bean Counting Contest and confectionary-themed raffles. Attendees will enjoy live music and comedy from legendary children’s entertainer, Polka Dot the Clown, and a special visit from The Easter Bunny.
Children and their parents will meet at Gazebo/Municipal Field on Main Street at 10:30 am for the largest Easter Egg hunt in Morris County, “To see the tremendous passion and energy of hundreds of children is worth every candy, every egg, and every effort to touch our community,” comments Kathy Barbieri, President of the HCBA. “Last year’s event drew more than 1,000 people and we expect it to be even larger this year.”
Rain or shine, the ropes drop at 11:00 am, so be sure to arrive early with Easter baskets in hand. A great photo op for the kids, don’t forget to bring your camera! After the hunt, parents can track down their own 'Bonus Eggs' at 76 Main Street.
