Tree LightingThe 24th annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Chester is planned for Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Gazebo on Main St.  All are invited to arrive at 5:00 PM for the start of the program.  The lighting of the tree will be at 5:30 PM with Santa arriving courtesy of the Chester Volunteer Fire Company.  Each child will be able to visit with Santa and receive a treat.  There will be refreshments for all to enjoy. 

These activities are sponsored by the Chester Borough Recreation Commission along with Chester Township Recreation, with gratitude to the Chester Garden Club for running the event for 22 years.  This is an evening of fun for all ages.  Please come out and join your neighbors for a special way to start the holiday season.
